The only borough with two airports in it
JFK and LaGuardia are both here, which makes Queens either the easiest place in New York to fly from or the most congested place to drive through, depending entirely on the hour. We work this borough every day in both directions.

Queens addresses are a trap for anyone who does not know them
Most of the borough runs on a numbered grid, and the numbers repeat across different kinds of road. Within a few blocks of each other you can find 45th Street, 45th Avenue, 45th Road, 45th Drive and 45th Place — all real, all different, all a long way apart if you pick the wrong one.
House numbers are hyphenated too, so 34-12 is not number 3,412. A chauffeur who has not worked Queens before will eventually end up outside the right number on the wrong road, usually with the clock running.
Send the full address including the road type — Avenue, Road, Drive or Place — and the cross street if you have it. It takes a second and removes the one mistake that actually costs time here.

Close is not the same as quick
From Astoria or Long Island City, LaGuardia is fifteen to twenty-five minutes outside the peak and closer to forty inside it. From Jamaica or Ozone Park, JFK is ten to twenty.
But the Van Wyck Expressway is the only real approach to JFK and it is one of the most reliably congested roads in the city. Being three miles away is no help at 4pm on a Friday. Our timings are built on that rather than on what a map suggests.
Queens is bigger than people picture
It covers more ground than any other borough, and the neighbourhoods have very little in common with each other beyond the postcode.
Long Island City and Astoria. The closest part of Queens to Midtown, a few minutes through the tunnel when it is clear. Corporate work, hotels and a great deal of airport traffic.
Flushing and Corona. Citi Field, Flushing Meadows and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, which turns the area into a different place entirely for three weeks each summer. See US Open transport.
Forest Hills, Rego Park and Kew Gardens. Residential, well connected to both airports, and home to Forest Hills Stadium.
Jamaica, Jackson Heights and Elmhurst. Dense, busy, and the part of Queens where the address detail matters most.
Bayside, Whitestone, Douglaston and Little Neck. The north-eastern edge, closer to Nassau County than to Manhattan in both distance and feel.
The Rockaways, Howard Beach and Ozone Park. The southern shore, minutes from JFK and a long way from everywhere else.
Where a car earns its place in Queens

Airport transfers
Flight tracked on every booking. Newark is the long one from here, across two rivers and tolled both ways, which is why it is worth a flat quote rather than an app.

Corporate travel
Monthly billing, agreed rates on routine routes, and a number that is answered rather than an app that reassigns your car two minutes before pickup.

Weddings
Queens does large weddings properly. For guest shuttles, send the venue address early — some forecourts take our 28-seat mini coach but not a full-size vehicle.

Games and events
Booked hourly so the car waits when the game runs long, rather than leaving you to find a ride in a car park with forty thousand other people.

Queens to Manhattan
Dinner, the theatre, a late flight home. The Queensboro Bridge is free; the Midtown Tunnel is not and is usually faster. We take whichever actually suits the hour.

Group travel
Sprinters to fourteen, the mini coach to twenty-eight, the Mercedes coach to fifty-six. Note that buses may not use the Grand Central Parkway, so coach routes here run differently.
A flat rate, agreed before you book
Queens journeys are quoted flat, with tolls, parking and gratuity inside the figure. The rate does not move with demand, weather or the hour, which matters here more than most places: the roads around both airports are exactly where surge pricing bites hardest.
An evening out, a game, or a day of several stops is hourly with a minimum, because the car waits rather than leaving and being re-summoned. Regular routes can go on a corporate account at an agreed rate.
Car service in Queens
How long does it take from Queens to Manhattan?
From Long Island City or Astoria, fifteen to thirty minutes to Midtown outside the peak. From Flushing or Bayside, thirty-five to sixty. The bridge or tunnel chosen changes it more than the distance does.
Do you cover both airports?
Constantly, in both directions. JFK and LaGuardia each have their own page with terminal detail and realistic timings, and the flight is tracked on every booking.
Why do you ask for the road type in my address?
Because in Queens the same number exists as a Street, an Avenue, a Road, a Drive and a Place, often within a few blocks. Giving us the road type and a cross street removes the single most common cause of a late pickup in this borough.
Can you get to Newark from Queens?
Yes. It is the long one — two rivers, tolls in both directions, and anywhere from an hour to an hour and three quarters. We quote it flat with the tolls included, which is the figure most often missing from a cheaper-looking quote.
Do you serve Citi Field and the Tennis Center?
Yes, regularly. For games and concerts an hourly booking works best so the car is waiting afterwards. During the US Open the area runs on its own rules and we plan around them.
What about a group?
Sprinter vans take fourteen, our mini coach twenty-eight and the Mercedes coach fifty-six. Buses are barred from the Grand Central Parkway, so coach routes across Queens run on the expressways instead and our timings allow for it.
Do you go out to Long Island?
Yes. Nassau and Suffolk are routine, and the Hamptons are regular seasonal work. See long-distance car service for runs beyond the Tri-State area.
