Two major venues sharing one set of roads
Belmont Park reopened in September 2026 after a $555 million rebuild, and UBS Arena sits on the same site. Between year-round racing, Islanders games and arena concerts, this corner of Elmont now runs events most weeks of the year — and everyone arrives through the same few junctions.

A car and a coach cannot take the same road here
Belmont Park has its own ramps onto the Cross Island Parkway, which is why a sedan or SUV gets in and out quickly. But the Cross Island is a parkway, and buses are barred from New York's parkways by law.
So a mini coach or a 56-seat coach cannot use those ramps at all. Group vehicles come in along Hempstead Turnpike instead, which is slower and busier on an event day. If you are bringing a group, tell us early so the timing is built on the road the vehicle is actually allowed to use.

Just over the Queens line, minutes from JFK
The address is 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003 — Nassau County, but close enough to the city boundary that the LIRR station and some of the parking straddle the Queens line.
JFK is about fifteen minutes away, which makes Belmont unusually easy for anyone flying in for a race meeting or a concert. Midtown is forty minutes on a quiet morning and considerably more when an event is letting out.
2027 is the year this venue gets busy
Belmont Stakes — Saturday 5 June 2027. The third leg of the Triple Crown returns to Belmont Park for the first time since 2023, after three years at Saratoga. The venue is expected to hold at least 50,000 for it. We have a separate page on how that day works.
Breeders' Cup World Championships — Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2027. Racing's world championships come to Belmont for the first time since 2005. Two days rather than one, and a far more international crowd, which means a great deal of airport work either side of it. See the Breeders' Cup page for how those two days work.
Both are already open for enquiries. For dates this far out we hold the quote rather than repricing closer to the day.
Race days, game nights and everything between

Race days
A card runs most of the afternoon and the last race is never quite when you planned. Booked hourly, the car is where you left it rather than somewhere in a parking field.

UBS Arena
Seventeen thousand people leaving at once onto two roads. The hour after a show is the whole reason to have booked a car rather than hoped for one.

Corporate hospitality
Clients collected from their hotels, delivered together, and taken home afterwards. Billed to one account rather than a dozen expense claims.

Airport transfers
Owners, trainers and visiting guests arriving for a meeting. The flight is tracked, so a delay moves the pickup rather than costing you.

Group travel
Company days and supporters' groups. Remember the parkway restriction — coaches route in on Hempstead Turnpike, which changes the timing.

Queens and Long Island
Belmont sits on the boundary, so most journeys here start in Queens, Nassau or Manhattan. All three are routine work.
Hourly, almost always
A race meeting runs for hours and finishes when it finishes. An arena show overruns. Booked as a one-way transfer, the car leaves and you are left arranging the way home at the worst possible moment, in a place where that is genuinely difficult.
Booked hourly, the chauffeur waits in an agreed spot and comes to you when you call. The rate is flat, tolls and parking are inside it, and there is no surge because an event let out early.
Getting to Belmont Park
How long does it take from Manhattan?
Forty minutes on a clear morning, and up to an hour and a half arriving for a major meeting. Leaving afterwards is the slower half. We build the return on the event finishing late rather than on time.
How far is it from JFK?
About fifteen minutes, which is the quiet advantage of this venue. LaGuardia is around half an hour and Newark an hour or more, since that route crosses the city and is tolled throughout.
Why does a coach take a different route?
Belmont has direct ramps onto the Cross Island Parkway, but buses are barred from New York's parkways by law. Cars and SUVs use the ramps; coaches and mini coaches come in along Hempstead Turnpike. It is slower on an event day and our timings for group bookings allow for it.
Can you collect us after the last race?
Yes, and this is what hourly booking is for. Tell us roughly when you expect to leave and the chauffeur waits. There is no charge for the meeting running long.
Do you cover UBS Arena as well?
Yes. Islanders games and concerts are regular work. The arena empties faster than a racecourse, which makes the pickup point more important rather than less — we agree it with you before the night.
Can you quote now for the 2027 Belmont Stakes?
Yes. Send the date, the group size and where you are starting from, and we will hold the figure. Early booking matters here because the city has a finite number of vehicles and a 50,000-capacity race day uses most of them.
What about the Breeders' Cup?
Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2027, at Belmont for the first time since 2005. It runs over two days and draws an international crowd, so the airport work either side of it books up early. See Breeders' Cup car service.
