Racing's world championships, back in New York after twenty-two years
The Breeders' Cup has not been run at Belmont Park since 2005. It returns on 29 and 30 October 2027, to a venue rebuilt for $555 million and reopened in September 2026. Two days, fourteen championship races, and a crowd drawn from Europe, Japan and the Gulf as much as from Long Island.

Two days, and the first one is a working Friday
The Belmont Stakes is a single Saturday. The Breeders' Cup is Friday and Saturday, and the Friday card runs while Manhattan is still at work. A good number of people come straight from an office in Midtown or Downtown, go to the races, and go back into the city that evening.
That makes it a different booking. Two separate days, often from two different starting points, frequently with people joining and leaving at different times. We hold it as one arrangement with one chauffeur rather than four unrelated transfers.

Most of this crowd lands at JFK first
Breeders' Cup week brings owners, trainers, bloodstock agents and racing media from Europe, Japan and the Gulf. Nearly all of them arrive through JFK, which happens to be fifteen minutes from the track.
Those bookings start several days before the racing and run several days after. Flights are tracked on every airport transfer, so an eight-hour delay out of Heathrow or Dubai moves the pickup instead of costing you the fare. For a week-long stay, one chauffeur across the whole visit is simpler than arranging each leg.
Four things worth knowing in advance
Coaches cannot use the parkway ramps. Belmont has direct ramps onto the Cross Island Parkway, but buses are barred from New York's parkways by law. A mini coach or full coach routes in along Hempstead Turnpike, which is slower on a championship day. Tell us the group size early and the timing is built on the road the vehicle may actually use.
It gets dark during the card. Late October means sunset around six. The last races run under lights and the walk back to a distant parking field is a different proposition at that hour, in that weather, than it is in June.
Friday evening is the worst return of the two. The Friday card finishes into Long Island rush hour heading back towards the city. We plan the Friday return on that basis rather than on the Saturday timings.
Hotels book out before the vehicles do. By the time most people arrange transport, the city's supply is already committed to the same weekend. For a two-day booking with airport legs either side, earlier is not a sales line — it is the difference between a quote and an apology.
Four shapes this usually takes

Arrival and departure
JFK is fifteen minutes from the track and forty-five from most Manhattan hotels. Meet-and-greet inside the terminal, flight tracked, and free wait time on international arrivals.

Client hospitality
Guests collected from their own hotels, delivered together, and taken home afterwards. One account, one invoice, no expense claims from eight people.

As directed
The same person across Friday and Saturday, who already knows the gate you use and where you want collecting. Far easier by the second day.

Groups and syndicates
Ownership syndicates, corporate parties and racing clubs. Remember the parkway restriction — coaches arrive on Hempstead Turnpike, which changes the timing.
Journey times, allowing for the day
Belmont Park is at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003 — Nassau County, just over the Queens line. Add to anything your phone quotes for the Friday evening return in particular.
Hourly across each day, quoted as one booking
Both race days are hourly with a minimum, because the car waiting is the point. Airport legs either side are quoted flat. All of it goes on one booking and one invoice rather than five separate ones.
Tolls, parking and gratuity are inside every figure. There is no surge, whatever the weekend turns into.
We will fix the rate now, for October 2027. Most operators will not quote a date this far out because they expect to charge more closer to it. We would rather hold the booking than hold out for the increase.
Breeders' Cup transport
When is the 2027 Breeders' Cup?
Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2027, at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. It is the first Breeders' Cup at Belmont since 2005.
Do I need a car for both days?
Most people do, and it is cheaper and simpler booked together than as two separate days. It also means the same chauffeur on Saturday, who already knows your gate and your pickup point from Friday.
Can you collect us from JFK and handle the whole trip?
Yes, and this is the most common Breeders' Cup booking we take. Airport arrival, hotel transfers, both race days and the departure, held as one arrangement. The flight is tracked on both airport legs.
How early should we book?
As soon as your travel is fixed. Tickets are not yet on sale, which means most people have not thought about transport at all — and the region's vehicle supply for that weekend will be committed long before the racing.
Why does a coach take a different route?
Belmont has its own ramps onto the Cross Island Parkway, but buses are barred from New York's parkways by law. Cars and SUVs use the ramps; coaches come in on Hempstead Turnpike instead. Our group timings allow for it.
What is the Friday like compared with the Saturday?
Friday is a working day, so more of the crowd comes from Manhattan offices and the return runs into Long Island rush hour. Saturday is the bigger day and the busier exit. We plan the two returns differently.
Do you cover the rest of Belmont Park?
Yes — year-round racing, and UBS Arena next door for Islanders games and concerts. See Belmont Park car service.
What about the Belmont Stakes earlier in the year?
Saturday 5 June 2027, at the same venue, and a different kind of day entirely. See Belmont Stakes car service.
