The race comes home after four years away
The third leg of the Triple Crown was run at Saratoga in 2024, 2025 and 2026 while Belmont Park was rebuilt. In June 2027 it returns to Elmont, to a $555 million venue that reopened in September 2026 and is expected to hold at least fifty thousand people for the day.

The Stakes is one race in a very long afternoon
People book a car for four in the afternoon because that is roughly when the big race runs, and then discover the gates opened at half past ten and the card continues afterwards. Most of the day is the eleven or twelve races around it, the paddock, and a great deal of standing about in June heat.
Plan for arriving late morning and leaving when you are ready rather than when the timetable says. That is the whole argument for booking the car by the hour rather than as two transfers.

Fifty thousand people and two useful roads
Belmont sits between the Cross Island Parkway and Hempstead Turnpike. On an ordinary race day that is ample. On Stakes day it is not, and the hour after the last race is the part of the trip worth planning properly.
We agree a pickup point with you beforehand, away from the main exit flow, and the chauffeur waits there. Nobody stands in a parking field at seven in the evening watching an app price climb.
Three things specific to this venue
Coaches cannot use the parkway ramps. Belmont has its own ramps onto the Cross Island Parkway, but buses are barred from New York's parkways by law. A mini coach or full coach routes in on Hempstead Turnpike instead, which on Stakes day is materially slower. Tell us the group size early and the timing is built around the road the vehicle may actually use.
Book far earlier than feels necessary. The city has a finite number of vehicles and a fifty-thousand-capacity Saturday takes most of them. This is not a sales line; it is the reason people end up paying three times the rate in late May.
June in New York is hot. A racecourse offers very little shade and the day is long. Clients routinely ask the chauffeur to come back mid-afternoon for an hour in an air-conditioned car. On an hourly booking that costs nothing extra, and on a transfer booking it is not possible at all.
Dress code and the walk. Belmont is a dress-up day and the walk from general parking is long in the shoes people wear for it. Where we can, we set the drop-off closer than the public lots allow.
Realistic journey times for Stakes day
Belmont Park is at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003 — Nassau County, just over the Queens line. Add a good deal to any time your phone quotes you for the morning of the race.
Sized to the group, not to the occasion
For a corporate suite or a hospitality group, the Sprinter is usually the right answer rather than three SUVs: one arrival, one head count, and everyone walks in together.
Hourly, with the figure fixed now
Stakes day is an hourly booking with a minimum, because the car waiting is the entire point. Tolls, parking and gratuity are inside the rate.
There is no surge. The rate we quote in November is the rate you pay in June, whatever the demand looks like by then.
Quoting this far ahead is deliberate. Most operators will not fix a price for a date eighteen months out because they expect to charge more closer to it. We would rather have the booking.
Belmont Stakes transport
When is the 2027 Belmont Stakes?
Saturday 5 June 2027, at Belmont Park in Elmont. It is the first running at Belmont since 2023 — the race was held at Saratoga for three years while the track was rebuilt.
What time should we arrive?
Earlier than the big race suggests. Gates open in the morning and the card runs all afternoon, with the Stakes itself late in the programme. Arriving late morning gives you the day rather than ninety minutes of it.
Should we book a transfer or hourly?
Hourly, for this one. A transfer means the car leaves, and finding a ride out of Elmont among fifty thousand people is the worst part of anyone's day. Hourly also means the chauffeur can come back mid-afternoon if you want an hour in the cool.
How early should we book?
Now, honestly. A race day of this size uses most of the available vehicles in the region, and the last few weeks are when prices elsewhere climb. We fix the rate when you book and hold it.
Can you take a large group?
Yes, up to fifty-six in one vehicle. Note that coaches cannot use Belmont's parkway ramps, because buses are barred from New York parkways. Group vehicles arrive via Hempstead Turnpike and we build the extra time in.
Do you cover the whole race meeting, not just the Stakes?
Yes. The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival runs across several days, and Belmont now races year-round. See Belmont Park car service for the venue generally, including UBS Arena next door.
What about the Breeders' Cup?
Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2027, also at Belmont, for the first time since 2005. Two days and a far more international crowd, so the airport transfers either side book up early. See Breeders' Cup car service.
Can you collect us from the airport and take us straight there?
Yes, and from JFK it is barely fifteen minutes. The flight is tracked, so a delay moves the pickup rather than costing you. See airport transfers.
