Twenty thousand people walk out of Madison Square Garden within about fifteen minutes of the final whistle. Eighty thousand leave MetLife at once. No app has enough cars in that spot at that moment, and the ones that are there are priced accordingly.

MetLife is the one people underestimate. It sits in New Jersey, every route crosses a tolled tunnel or bridge, and eighty thousand people leave through the same few roads. Allow far more time than a map suggests, in both directions.
Four things that decide whether it works
Agree the meeting point in advance
Not the stadium address — a specific gate, corner or cross street outside the crowd. Trying to find each other by phone in twenty thousand people does not work, and the mobile network is usually struggling anyway.
Plan the approach, not just the venue
Which side, which direction of travel, which streets are closed for the event. Arriving from the wrong side can cost half an hour on its own.
Hold the vehicle
Releasing a car and expecting another to reach a stadium at the final whistle is optimistic. A car already waiting is not.
Leave early, or wait it out
The worst twenty minutes are immediately after the event. Sometimes the fastest way home is a drink nearby and a departure at half past eleven. We will tell you honestly when that is the better plan.

Should I book a fixed pickup or hourly?
Hourly, for almost any event. Games go to overtime, concerts run encores, and a fixed time is a guess. The car waiting is the whole point.
Where will the driver meet me afterwards?
At a specific point agreed before the event — a named gate, corner or cross street away from the main exit crowd. We confirm it by text, because the mobile network around a full stadium is rarely reliable.
How long does it take to get to MetLife Stadium?
Typically 45 to 90 minutes from Manhattan, and longer close to kick-off. It is in New Jersey, so every route crosses a tolled tunnel or bridge. Leaving afterwards is slower still.
Can you take a large group?
Yes. Sprinter vans seat fourteen and coaches up to 55. For supporters’ groups and company outings a coach is far cheaper per person.
Do you charge more on big event nights?
No surge multiplier. The rate is quoted flat before you book and does not change because a game went to overtime or a concert sold out. See our rates page.
How far in advance should I book?
For an ordinary fixture, a few days. For a play-off game, a stadium concert or anything at MetLife, book as early as you can — those nights concentrate a huge amount of demand into one evening.
